Introducing Neuroplasticity

Neuroplasticity is the brain’s remarkable ability to rewire itself by forming new connections between nerve cells (neurons).

After a stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI), this natural process allows healthy areas of the brain to take over some of the functions of damaged regions.
